What
is this about?
This display is about the central
services for students perceived to need support urgently. Definitions of urgent
and emergency are sometimes ambiguous and the issues, responsibilities, duty of
care and liability can cause anxiety. We seek to clarify Student Support and
Wellbeing procedures to help staff understand how students can access
appropriate levels of support. Representatives of the services can respond to
specific questions.
How
will colleagues benefit?
We hope that colleagues will gain
confidence in referring students to appropriate entry points to support and
also in accessing information and support themselves in their student-facing
work.
